By using Staick (staick.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Description of Service

Staick is a privacy-first, EU-based hub that centralizes your AI conversations. Features include:

Import: Sync conversations from 15+ AI providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
Organize: Workspaces, projects, tags, notes
Search: Full-text search across all conversations
Extract: AI-generated summaries (optional)
Integrate: Push to Notion, Obsidian, Slack (coming soon)

Service modifications: We may add, change, or remove features. We'll notify you for significant changes.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1. What you SHOULD Do

✅ Import only conversations you have the right to access
✅ Keep your account secure
✅ Respect AI providers' terms of service
✅ Use Staick for lawful purposes

3.2. What You MUST NOT Do

❌ Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
❌ Scrape, crawl, or spider the service
❌ Use automated tools to abuse the service
❌ Impersonate others or misrepresent yourself
❌ Violate any laws or regulations
❌ Interfere with or disrupt the service
❌ Attempt to gain unauthorized access

4. Account Security

You are responsible for:

Keeping your password secure
All activities under your account
Notifying us immediately if compromised (hello@staick.app)

Recommendation: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.

5. Content & AI Conversations

5.1. You Own Your Conversations

You retain full ownership of the AI conversations you import. Staick is granted a limited license to:

Store your conversations
Display them to you
Process them for search and features

Key point: We don't claim ownership of your conversations. They're yours.

5.2. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

The content you import
Ensuring you have the right to import it
Compliance with AI providers' terms

5.3. AI-Generated Content

Staick is not responsible for content generated by AI providers. We don't control what ChatGPT, Claude, or others generate.

6. AI Provider Terms

⚠️ CRITICAL: You must comply with each AI provider's Terms of Service

When you import conversations from ChatGPT, you must comply with OpenAI's Terms. When you import from Claude, you must comply with Anthropic's Terms. And so on.

Staick is not responsible if you violate an AI provider's terms. If you're unsure, check the provider's terms before importing.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Staick integrates with third-party tools:

Notion: Push conversations to Notion workspaces
Obsidian: Export as markdown files
Slack: Share conversations to channels

These integrations have their own terms. By using them, you also agree to their terms.

Status: Integrations are coming soon. Stay tuned!

8. Payment & Billing (Future)

📅 Payment features are not yet implemented. This section is for future reference.

8.1. Pricing Tiers (Planned)

Free: €0/month (limited features)
Pro: €12/month (full features)
Team: €29/user/month (collaboration features)

8.2. Billing Cycle

Monthly or annual (with 2 months free for annual).

8.3. Refund Policy (Planned)

Pro tier: 7-day money-back guarantee
Team tier: Contact sales for refunds
After 7 days: No refunds for usage already billed

8.4. Price Changes

We'll give 30 days notice for price changes. Existing subscriptions are honored for the billing cycle.

9. Cancellation & Termination

9.1. Cancellation by You

You can cancel anytime:

Delete your account (we'll ask for confirmation)
Export your data before deletion (JSON/CSV)
We'll soft-delete within 7 days, hard-delete within 30 days

9.2. Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in abusive or illegal behavior
You compromise service security

9.3. Refunds

No refunds for usage already billed, except as specified in Section 8.3.

10. Limitation of Liability

🛡️ Staick's liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Staick is not liable for:

Loss of data (backup your conversations!)
Downtime or service interruptions
AI provider outages or issues
Third-party service failures
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

This limitation applies to the maximum extent allowed by law. Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations, so this may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Staick from:

Claims arising from your use of the service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of AI providers' terms
Any illegal or harmful activities

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Staick is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Reliability or availability
Freedom from viruses or bugs

We don't guarantee 100% uptime or perfect compatibility with all AI providers.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by:

French law and European Union regulations (including GDPR)
Jurisdiction: French courts (or other EU courts for EU residents)

For non-EU users, local laws may also apply.

14. Dispute Resolution

If we have a dispute:

First: Try to resolve it amicably (email us at hello@staick.app)
Second: Consider mediation if needed
Last resort: French courts

15. General Provisions

15.1. Severability

If one provision is found invalid, the rest remain in effect.

15.2. Waiver

Not enforcing a provision doesn't mean we waive it.

15.3. Entire Agreement

These Terms + our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Staick.

16. Modifications

We may modify these Terms. For significant changes, we'll:

Email you at least 30 days in advance
Highlight what changed
Assume continued use = acceptance
